Logo and Identity Guidelines are very important. Shoals Technologies Group had a great logo but no "rules" for the company to abide by so when I started at the company one of the first things I did was to clean up their logos and build a manual of IDENTITY GUIDELINES. Now, the company has no question what can or cannot be done with the logos or taglines, making corporate usage of such marks simpler.
